OEG’s technical laboratory division, Kastner offers a full project management service for laboratory fit-out and refurbishment projects, from initial CAD drawings and consultation through to manufacture and installation of your new, extended or refurbished laboratory. We take care of everything including plumbing, electrical work, partitions, ceilings, chemical extraction, and the installation of special gases pipework.
At Kastner we know the importance of working closely with each client to ensure we understand the needs of your business and the way you will be using your new laboratory. Our dedicated design team offers a powerful resource which is at your disposal to capture the key features that will be needed in your new laboratory or workspace. Utilize our ability to create plans, 3D visuals and graphic images to help you picture what can be done with the space available. Our experienced team of lab designers can assist with a wide variety of technical issues and current legislation including the installation and positioning of fume cupboards, face velocities, laboratory extraction and a host of other issues facing you when you undertake a laboratory project.
Kastner’s laboratory furniture range offers everything that the modern lab technician requires, from lab benching and mobile under-bench storage units to illuminated reagent shelving and a range of fume cupboards and extraction solutions. Together with OEG, Kastner offers a fully project managed solution from initial design through to custom manufacture by our experienced teams across the UK.
Before joining the OEG Group in April 2017, Kastner had been installing and supplying equipment for laboratories since 1975. We have worked in a variety of industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, dairy, beverage, paint, textiles, veterinary laboratories and the chemical industry. We have an in-depth knowledge of laboratory processes, procedures and equipment and this wealth of experience, not found in many laboratory fit-out companies, results in a lab that works for you.
