Nelson joined OEG in 2018 to fulfil the company’s mission of facilitating employees’ self-directed learning opportunities. His career trajectory spans 38 years and includes time spent in the timber industry, with leading consumer brands, and latterly working in education to equip students of all ages with lifelong learning skills. Aside from being a self-titled serial entrepreneur, Nelson credits his extended family for a wholly rewarding life.
Ed has been with OEG from the very early years, joining in 1989 and steering the company’s ongoing progression with his visionary leadership and management. Innovation and inspiration are his driving principles when it comes to organisational growth. They are equally important to the team he has helped to build up over the years. Fittingly, family values and a commitment to community also guide Ed’s extracurricular life.
After running a number of independent business ventures and subsequently managing a plc London company, Ross took on the responsibility of being OEG’s Commercial Director, bringing more than 35 years’ worth of experience to the company. A trained quantity surveyor, he now takes care of everything from the financials and delivery, to preconstruction operations and HR. Outside of the office, he’s a keen hunter and fisher.

Our eternally-positive design leader. Always up-to-speed on the very latest in workplace design trends Lucy loves sharing her knowledge and experience to help others. Lover of the great outdoors, especially camping with her husband and two boys.
Geoff has been working in the laboratory market since 1990. In 2017, he brought a lifetime of sector experience to OEG, where he derives personal and professional satisfaction from helping clients to find the intelligent solution to their technical and practical needs. His proudest achievement to date involved kitting out a new suite of science laboratories at Stoke on Trent College, providing teachers and students with much needed high spec facilities.
A graduate of Interior Architecture, Giedre joined OEG in 2014, eager to be part of a company committed to ongoing expansion in organisational and project terms. She views her role as one that is key to creating exciting, beautiful and functional spaces, as well as inspiring clients to change their everyday working lives. Her love of travel provides constant creative fuel for the ideas she brings to her work and OEG’s clients.
Alicja is at home designing beautiful spaces for our lovely clients. A lover of the outdoors, outside of work she will be found enjoying countryside & coastal walks with her family and Stanley the dog.
A first class honours degree in Interior Design paved the way for Vicki’s career in the sector, kick started by a work placement with OEG during her course. As a workspace designer, Vicki takes an analytical approach to reimagining the office environment, creating inspiring visions for OEG clients. Her experimental streak extends from the office to the kitchen, where she is an avid baker.
Assoc. Director of Business Development
Carole joined OEG in 2010, bringing with her a wealth of sales experience, including running her own business, and a passion for interior design. Facilitating opportunities and positive action are her raison d’etre as Director of Business Development. They are also some of the core principles that underpin her personal life and worldview, most evidently via her work with the International Rotary Club.
Business Development Manager
Keen networker and fitness enthusiast, Cleo fills her working hours unearthing new business opportunities. As a keen traveller she’s visited nearly every continent and last year she spontaneously did a tandem skydive.
Silas followed his father into the business, joining in 1989. As Furniture Manager, he is responsible for overseeing all of the furniture requirements for OEG’s existing clients and new projects. Outside of the world of the work, Silas is drawn to the outdoors, spending whatever time he can exploring the wider world with his wife.
Business Development Manager
OEG proved the perfect fit for Gavin who joined the company after gaining his A-levels in 2016. A dedicated sales and marketing enthusiast, Gavin is responsible for seeking out new business opportunities that give his fellow team members and the company the continued opportunity to grow. Aside from his passion for bringing a personalised approach to the OEG sales team, Gavin is a keen cricketer.
John prices and orders all our furniture at OEG and also coordinates the installation. As a keen gamer, there’s not much John doesn’t know about how computers operate and work and he’s been known to build a PC or 2 in his free time!
Master of OEG’s unique estimating programme, Selwyn’s task is to ensure our wonderful clients enjoy maximum value. When not searching out great value engineering opportunities Selwyn can be found computer programming.
Ensuring that the OEG team and all the company’s clients are entirely satisfied is Sarah’s primary concern. As office manager, she assists with tenders, submissions, negotiating client costs, helping to refine project briefs and arrange building works. The ideal day for Sarah is one where every task in the office has been completed, allowing her to relax in the company of her dog.
Prior to joining OEG’s projects team in 2018, Alexandra studied for her degree in project design and gained eight years’ of experience in 3D design. A desire to seek out a new direction in life led her to join the OEG family, where the thrill of negotiating a good deal, and of seeing a project through to competition, assisting at every step along the way, is a constant source of inspiration
Sales Ledger Controller
Hazel’s ambition to work in an office was realised in 2000 when she joined OEG after leaving school. As part of the accounts team, Hazel is responsible for issuing invoices and ensuring the company runs smoothly behind the scenes. Having been with the company for 20 years, her experience and insight also sees her lending her hand in other tasks. Outside of the office, her family is her number one commitment.
Purchase Ledger Controller
Patrycja was drawn to the family dynamic that characterises the OEG team and an office environment that reflects the company’s vision to create spaces where people thrive. Prior to joining OEG in 2014, she worked in accounts developing the skills she has transferred to her current role as Purchase Ledger Controller. When not working or studying for the latest qualifications, Patrycja enjoys time spent with her family.
Gary keeps a watchful eye on the financials of every project, producing timely, useful information to shape decisions made by the business. Gary’s a family man and Netflix boxset addict and on weekends can be found keeping his opponent busy on the tennis courts
With meticulous attention to detail Chris maintains OEG’s many all-important accreditations ensuring our client’s piece of mind. A keen volunteer of a number of local community causes and an accomplished pianist.
With 40 years’ experience across multiple sectors, from banking and pensions to working with young adults with learning disabilities, Tina’s skills come into play as Executive Assistant to OEG’s management team. Her role is as varied as the people and processes she takes care of, from handling admin to running the office. As a grandmother of seven, life outside of work is equally as nourishing.
Ross has 14 years’ experience in the industry, spanning construction contracting through to project management. He joined OEG in 2019 and is now a key member of the organisation’s project management team. Ross prides himself on his diligent approach to overseeing the entire design and build service for OEG’s clients, from conception through to completion.
